bookreview-secretsThe Millionaire Mind

The Millionaire Mind is one of the best books I have ever read. It’s the only book I have ready more than 10 times. This is a very motivational book that dispels the myths we have about the wealthy. Stanley uncovers the secrets in achieving wealth and breaks down the success factors they follow. This book looks at every aspect of achieving wealth from choosing a spouse, running a household and more. After reading this book you will look at wealth from a totally different perspective and realize that becoming a millionaire is a mindset that anyone can obtain if they are willing.

no-more-mondaysNo More Mondays

Excellent book that highlights doing the work you love. Using your God given talents and gives you a different perspective on choosing the work you do. Many of us have fallen into the trap of working to earn an income and fail to capitalize on our God given talents. Many times it’s because we don’t feel as though we can earn money enough doing what we love. Well Miller does an excellent job giving various examples of why we need to rethink what we are doing and taking action to get out of the rat race and move on to our destiny. This book is very inspirational and helped me to make the transition from my 9 to 5 to real estate full time. I can truly say there are no more Mondays.

powerofhabitThe Power of Habit

The Power of Habit: Why we do what we do in life and business by Charles Duhigg is a fascinating read about how habits are created and persist in our lives. He shows that our lives are not a series of carefully thought out choices, but rather strings of habits repeated daily. He breaks down the anatomy of habits into cue, routine, and reward sequences and shows that by recognizing these patterns, we can gain more control over our lives. Using real world examples from the advertising industry, he shows how habits can be created or changed at will. This is a very useful read for anyone who wants to create some new beneficial habits, or get rid of some bad ones to improve their lives and business.

The Success Principles

The Success Principles by Jack Canfield is a fantastic summary of most of the important proven success principles discussed by prominent authors over the past few decades. If I was living on a deserted island, and I could bring only one book on success with me, this would be the one. If you read this book and actually implement the principles discussed, you will be successful. You won’t be able to stop yourself. The book is that thorough in describing each principle and how to incorporate it into your life. Do yourself a favor and read this book!

theonethingThe One Thing

The One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasan is an excellent read about the power of focus. With all of the distractions in our world today, it’s easier than ever to lose site of what’s most important in your business. The authors coach us to focus on the single thing that we should spend our tine on and prioritize in our business that would provide the most results.   Usually, by focusing our efforts on this key piece, everything else falls into place. It might sound like an obvious idea, but it’s something that we all need to be reminded of once in awhile. This is a great read.
